Leadership Academy 2018

Society of Hospital Medicine’s (SHM) Leadership Academy is the only hospitalist-focused leadership program in the nation. Take advantage of the three leadership courses offered simultaneously in the Academy to enhance your leadership skills in various areas and network with leaders from across the country.

Leadership: Strategic Essentials (formerly Leadership Foundations), Leadership: Influential Management and Leadership: Mastering Teamwork are available to all interested attendees regardless of previous attendance. Recommendations are provided to help interested attendees best determine which course fits them best in their leadership journey.

SHM’s expert faculty have created these courses to benefit the many roles hospital medicine professionals have. Whether you are a physician, an advanced care provider, hospital medicine leader or practice administrator, the courses in this academy cover vital topics such as overcoming leadership challenges, effectively advocating for a hospitalist program, conflict management, improving clinical and operational efficiency and more.
